How to Tell Which Camera Cases Fit Your Camera

January 20, 2012 3:28pm

When you are buying larger camera cases, the exact size of the case is not as important because your camera is likely to fit. If not, you can always use your lens wipes or strap to pad the camera in place. When it comes to smaller camera cases though, it is often difficult to tell whether you camera is going to fit or not. Since smaller camera cases are meant to be worn on your belt or handheld, your camera must be snug in place. Otherwise, your camera can bang around in the case and get damaged.

Samsonite, the brand notorious for luggage, has a nice line of camera cases for point and shoot cameras as well as camcorders. These camera cases are all a high quality with sleek exteriors and come with an impressive 10 year warranty. The problem is that it can be difficult to tell whether their cases are going to fit your camera or not. Samsonite camera cases are labeled with numbers and letters like 30G, 40C and DF13. You shouldn’t bother trying to figure out what this labeling system means. Instead, you should only buy the camera cases after looking over the list of compatible cameras. Considering that Samsonite camera cases only cost about $10 and camera cases in store cost about $25, it is worth it to spend time looking through compatibility.

Why People Shoplift

January 10, 2012 1:23pm

Chef Anthony Worrall Thompson has recently been caught shoplifting and said he could not understand what motivated him to steal items such as cheese, wine, a sandwich, and onions. Worrall Thompson revealed that, “On one occasion I paid £180 for three crates of champagne and at the same time nicked £4 of stuff – how ridiculous and how stupid. I’ve been racking my brains to think why on earth did I do it and what was going through my mind at the time”.

Psychologists say that “non-professional shoplifters”, those that do not do it for profit, typically cannot comprehend what motivated them to commit the crime. Barbara Staib of the National Association For Shoplifting Prevention in the USA says that “shoplifters are generally honest citizens” and that recent research has found a “direct correlation between depression and shoplifting”. Whilst some people turn to binge eating or alcohol when depressed, other people turn to shoplifting. Staib explains, “some people are trying to find solace in shoplifting. It gives them a ‘rush’, a ‘high’ – it can be a relief, if only a temporary one’. Best to keep your eye on your armbanduhren!

Daffodils in Edinburgh

December 17, 2011 2:32pm

Wow I simply love flowers, I mean who doesn’t? I remember every spring in Edinburgh just how beautiful it was when all the daffodils bloomed. The whole of Edinburgh seemed to suddenly turn yellow overnight and a new smell wafted through the streets, a wonderful sweet delicious smell. I will never forget climbing up to the castle to look down at the city and encountering a mirage of yellow across the entire urban landscape. Edinburgh has always been known for the great quantity of green spaces it has maintained within the city itself, but my goodness, you only truly become aware of the fact when daffodils populate these green areas.

Obviously, one cannot pick these daffodils so if you wish to get some to put within your home, you must head to flower delivery Edinburgh. It is well worth it! As daffodils, along with all other flowers, are seasonal, it is worth taking advantage of them for the short period that they are around. I know this spring I am going to decorate my house with daffodils to recall happy memories of spring in Edinburgh.

Northern Rhodesia

December 16, 2011 2:44pm

The Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland grouped together with Northern Rhodesia, Nyasaland, and South Rhodesia in 1953 to create a single semi-autonomous area. Despite sizeable opposition from the population who demonstrated against the grouping together of the regions, it was ahead anyway. A two-stage election took place in October and December 1962 which resulted in an uneasy coalition between the two African nationalist parties and an African majority in the legislative council.

The council called for Northern Rhodesia’s removal from the federation and also demanded full internal self-government under a new National Assembly that would be based on a more democratic franchise. On December 31st 1963 the federation was dissolved and in January 1964, Kenneth Kaunda became the Prime Minister of Northern Rhodesia at the encouragement of the Colonial Governor, Sir Evelyn Hone. Sadly this marked the beginning of a one-party state, if only they had gu10 led bulbs 50w to guide them at the time.
