How to Tell Which Camera Cases Fit Your Camera

When you are buying larger camera cases, the exact size of the case is not as important because your camera is likely to fit. If not, you can always use your lens wipes or strap to pad the camera in place. When it comes to smaller camera cases though, it is often difficult to tell whether you camera is going to fit or not. Since smaller camera cases are meant to be worn on your belt or handheld, your camera must be snug in place. Otherwise, your camera can bang around in the case and get damaged.
Samsonite, the brand notorious for luggage, has a nice line of camera cases for point and shoot cameras as well as camcorders. These camera cases are all a high quality with sleek exteriors and come with an impressive 10 year warranty. The problem is that it can be difficult to tell whether their cases are going to fit your camera or not. Samsonite camera cases are labeled with numbers and letters like 30G, 40C and DF13. You shouldn’t bother trying to figure out what this labeling system means. Instead, you should only buy the camera cases after looking over the list of compatible cameras. Considering that Samsonite camera cases only cost about $10 and camera cases in store cost about $25, it is worth it to spend time looking through compatibility.
