Daffodils in Edinburgh

December 17, 2011 2:32pm

Wow I simply love flowers, I mean who doesn’t? I remember every spring in Edinburgh just how beautiful it was when all the daffodils bloomed. The whole of Edinburgh seemed to suddenly turn yellow overnight and a new smell wafted through the streets, a wonderful sweet delicious smell. I will never forget climbing up to the castle to look down at the city and encountering a mirage of yellow across the entire urban landscape. Edinburgh has always been known for the great quantity of green spaces it has maintained within the city itself, but my goodness, you only truly become aware of the fact when daffodils populate these green areas.

Obviously, one cannot pick these daffodils so if you wish to get some to put within your home, you must head to flower delivery Edinburgh. It is well worth it! As daffodils, along with all other flowers, are seasonal, it is worth taking advantage of them for the short period that they are around. I know this spring I am going to decorate my house with daffodils to recall happy memories of spring in Edinburgh.
